dear little sophietoes...

well, here i am in las cruces, new mexico! with the veryveryvery smart dr. terri! so far, it's been very brown. i do have pictures, but, since i don't know how to load 'em up on terri's pc, you'll just have to wait with what, i imagine will be, not-so-eager anticipation. (did i mention the brown?) terri's puppy, maxxy, is poised and ready to attempt guest blogging, by the way... but again, no pictures, hence; no maxxy, hence; no guest blogging (there shall be no guest blogging without a picture of the "guest" blogger. so it is written. so it shall be). also, terri is veryveryvery picky about pictures of her beloved puppy. as soon as i take a pic she actually approves of, (and i figure out the whole pc picture loading thing) i'll hand over the keys to the computer and let him share some of his views on life in the very warm, very pleasant, but veryvery brown las cruces.

i miss you puppy girl... i'll be home sunday - give bobo a nose bump for me, be nice to max, and try not to eat too many greenies. oh, and be sure to give daddy lots of those good slobbery puppy kisses (maybe that will help him from missing me too much)!

ps...if ya look real close, you'll see an actual roadrunner in that picture i posted. that's what they look like. i know, cuz i saw one. they're brown, too, which is why they're so hard to see. my theory is that this is the real reason the coyote never catches the roadrunner in the cartoons. everything is so f*ckin' brown, he probably couldn't see it 2 inches in front of his own nose. it's just a theory, but i'm pretty sure i'm right.
