this story about the 78 year-old guy shot in the face over the weekend by birdshot gun-totin', quail-huntin', good ole boy, vice-president richard "dick-face" cheney just keeps getting better and better. now this poor guy's had a heart attack. holy shit. of course, can ya blame him? i mean, he was shot in the face by vice-president richard "dick-face" cheney, for cryin' out loud. by the way, for inquiring minds (like mommy) who wonder why it took so freaking long for the story to become public, read all about it, 4here3 and then, just for laughs, you can watch the way jon stewart covered the story last night on the daily show (best show on tv) 4here3 (to watch the clip, click #2 with a bullet when you get to the site).

speaking of things that are scary... did anyone watch the 1st part of the westminster kennel club dog show last night? anyone? anyone? what's the deal with jill "i-used-to-sleep-with-matt-lauer-when-i-was-hot-and-probably-helped-break-up-his-first-marriage" rappaport? (and, no, that's not her picture on the right. she probably wishes it was, but it's not) is it just me, or is it lo-o-o-o-ong past time this aging too-old-and-hippy/wrinkled-to-be-hip former entertainment reporter hung up her long bimbo hair/leather jacket/tight pants? yikes! kind of seems like a cruel touch of irony that she's now covering a... dog show (albeit, a really big dog show).

okay... ya know what? i couldn't resist telling you about the vp shooting victim or the jill rappaport looks-reallyreally-scary stuff, but, since this day started out with love... that's the way i intend to leave it. i found this quote earlier today, and i'd now like to dedicate it to my daddy... because i can. happy valentine's day, daddy, i love you!
